STANDARD DELIVERY

If you choose the Standard delivery option (£4.95, Free when you spend £70 or more online) then your order will be delivered between 2-3 working days.

NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY

If you choose the Next Working Day delivery option (£7.55 UK Main Land only) then your order will be despatched the following working day provided that you made your order by 1pm GMT Monday - Thursday.

If you place your order over the weekend (any time after 1pm on Friday) then it will arrive on Tuesday.

DELIVERY TIMESCALES

We despatch orders on weekdays only (Monday-Friday except bank Holidays)

If you choose the Standard delivery option (£4.95, Free when you spend £75 or more online) then your order will be delivered between 2-3 working days.

If you choose the Next Working Day delivery option (£6.95 UK Main Land, £12.50 for Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland. Spend £75 or more and the shipping costs become - £2.00 or £7.55) then your order will be despatched the following working day provided that you made your order by 1pm GMT Monday - Thursday. If you place your order over the weekend (any time after 1pm on Friday) then it will arrive on Tuesday. Orders to be delivered to the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland will require an extra working day for delivery.

RETURNS

If you would like to return an item/(s) to us for whatever reason, you may do so provided we receive the goods back in saleable condition within 28 days of receipt. The returned item/(s) must be unworn, not soiled and in a saleable condition. A FREE POST returns label and RETURNS FORM will be included with your order. Instructions on how to return the item/(s) is detailed on the RETURNS FORM.

Please note that it is your responsibility to return the goods in a saleable condition. We cannot take responsibility for any missing or lost items being returned back to our Warehouse. We also cannot accept returns of any item(s) that have been altered to your personal specifications. We also cannot accept a return more than 28 days after the date you received the order.

You may wish to upgrade your return to a recorded and insured service that will track the delivery of your return and also insure against any loss. This can be done at your local post office when retuning your item(s) and any cost of upgrading the return service will be paid for by the person returning the goods.

For exchanges we ask that you place a new order for the products or sizes you require and return back to us the unwanted item(s) using the RETURNS FORM. If you redeemed a discount code or free delivery was available on your first order and this is not available on your exchange order please email the customer service team who will be happy to help with any issues you may have with placing your new order.

Internet purchases currently cannot be returned to a store and must be returned to us using our RETURNS FORM.

What cards do you accept?

We accept Visa (including Delta and Electron), Mastercard, UK Maestro, JCB and Solo cards. We don't accept cheques, AMEX or Dinerscards.

What currencies can I pay in?

Currently we only accept payments in £ sterling.

Is it safe to order online?

We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide, so we maintain the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.

You can tell whether a page is secure as 'https' will replace the 'http' at the front of the racinggreen.co.uk in your browser address window. A small locked padlock will also appear in the bottom bar of your browser window.

I have a voucher code. How do I use it?

You can provide your voucher code at the checkout in the voucher section. Only one voucher may be redeemed per order and there is a maximum of one voucher per person for a particular promotion. A minimum purchase price (inclusive of VAT) may be specified in the voucher. The voucher is redeemable on or before the expiry date specified in the voucher and may not be exchanged for cash.

My login details/password don't work

Click on my account at top of the page. This will take you to the login page, where you can click on "Forgotten your password? Click here". You will find this link below the password section. Enter your email address that you registered with and click the "Get New Password" button. The system will automatically send you a new password to the email address that you gave when you registered. Please note that by resetting your password, any payment information you have saved with us will be deleted. If you forgot which email address you had used or are having problems please contact us via the support department on the contact us page.

Other problems with the website

If you are having any other issues with the website, please select the feedback department on the contact us page. It is very helpful for us if you provide the following information:

  • Your operating system (e.g. Windows XP, Mac OS 9.0)
  • Internet browser (Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 1.0.4)
  • The URL of the page you had the issue (e.g. http://www.racinggreen.co.uk/)
  • When the problem occurred (date/time)
  • Any error message you saw (please copy and paste the message)

I have received my order and I would like to return an item

If you would like to return an item/(s) to us for whatever reason, you may do so provided we receive the goods back in saleable condition within 28 days of receipt. The returned item/(s) must be unworn, not soiled and in a saleable condition. A FREE POST returns label and RETURNS FORM will be included with your order.

Please fill in the returns form enclosed within your order accurately to ensure we have all the information we need to process your return. All you need to do is provide details of your name, order number, contact details and the details of the item/(s) you are returning and the reasons for their return.

UK customers can use the FREE POST returns label attached to the RETURNS FORM in order to return the item/(s) through the local Royal Mail post office. Just attach the label securely to the outside of the package to be returned and take the package to your local Royal Mail post office to organise the return.

We are happy to accept returns of overseas orders but please note the cost of the return must be paid by whoever is returning the order. I have worn my item. Can I still return it?

The item must be in its original packaging, with the relevant tags still in place and in a condition that would enable us to sell the item to someone else as new. In the case of shoes, this means they must not have been worn outside. In the case of underwear and swimwear, the item must not have been worn.

Can I return an item to one of your stores?

Internet purchases currently cannot be returned to a store and must be returned to us using our RETURNS FORM.

Do I have to pay to return the item?

FREE POST is available on all UK orders. Please note that it is your responsibility when returning items and Racing Green cannot be held responsible if your returned item goes missing during its return back to Racing Green. Unfortunately the FREE POST service does not cover Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. You may wish to upgrade the returns service to recorded and insured but any extra costs in doing so must be met by the person returning the item/(s).

Can I exchange an item?

For exchanges we ask that you place a new order for the products or sizes you require and return back to us the unwanted item(s) using the RETURNS FORM. You have refunded the wrong amount?

When we calculate the amount to refund you, we take into account:

  • Any vouchers or promotions in the original purchase
  • Whether we are refunding the delivery charge or not.

you think we have incorrectly calculated the refund amount, please select the billing department on the contact us page and provide us with your order id and details of what you think the refund should be.

Questions about a product

The product/size I want is not showing

We do not show products on the site that are not currently available. Where a size is not currently available, this will be indicated next to the size. We get frequent deliveries of stock. Please select the sales department on the contact us page to find out if the product is due in soon.

I need more information about a product

On each product page, you will find a description of the product, its relevant features, including fabric and care instructions. If a product has a size chart, you will find a link to it to the right of the main image. If you would like any additional information, please select the sales department on the contact us page.

Do you have a catalogue?

We don't currently produce a print catalogue. You can find all our products on the website, which is updated regularly as new products arrive.

Can I buy these items in a shop?

You can find a list of our stores here. Some of the products on this site may not be available in every store. Please call the store to find out whether your desired item is available before you go there.

Are all the items I can see on the site available to buy?

All of the items you see are available to buy. If a particular size is not available, this information will show when you select the size. Occasionally if we have strong demand for a particular product we may not have sufficient stock to fulfil your order. If this happens we will send you an email suggesting an alternative item. You may cancel your order if you wish.

Questions about delivery

How much is your delivery charge?

Our standard charge is £4.95 (incl. VAT) to deliver anywhere in the Uk with in 2-3 working days of being despatched, Standard Delivery to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scottish High lands and the Isle of Man will be £9.00. You can also choose an Express Delivery option for next working day delivery (orders placed before 1pm) for £6.95 within the UK. Express delivery to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Man will cost £12.00 and will take 1-2 working days.

Please note that our Next Day Delivery service is not guaranteed. Royal Mail will do their up-most to make sure that orders are delivered within their required time periods, however please allow up to 48hrs and up to 72 hours if long distance.

Please note that all our services require a signature before the goods are released by the courier. Someone must be available at the delivery address to sign for the goods.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

If we receive an order before 1pm, we aim to despatch the order the same day. Orders received after 1pm will be despatched the following working day. Although we will do our best to ensure this happens, we cannot guarantee these delivery times. You should receive the goods within 2-3 working days if you select the standard service or next working day if you have selected the Express Service, after they have been despatched.

Which courier do you use?

We use Royal Mail for all our deliveries and Royal Mail FREE POST for Returns.

Can I have the goods delivered to someone else?

When you register, you will be asked to provide an address in your account details.

If you want to change the delivery address after you have created your account, you can do so either by going to Manage my address book in my account section and add your new delivery address. Alternatively, when you get to the checkout confirmation page click on "change address" under the delivery address and select the appropriate address or add a new one. If your order has already been placed please follow the procedure in Can I change my order. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change the delivery address after an order is placed.

Can you leave my delivery with a neighbour/in the garden?

We are happy to forward your request on to Royal Mail. Please use the comments box if you require alternative delivery arrangements

I have just placed my order, can I change my order?

Please go to your order history (you will need to be logged in). Please click on 'Contact us about this order' and provide us with the following information:

  • an appropriate department (usually support)
  • What you would like to change, e.g. delivery address.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to make the changes you request. One of our customer services team will contact you to let you know if it is possible to accommodate your request. If your order has been despatched, you will need to return the goods once you receive them.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can request that the order be cancelled (see "I have just placed my order, can I change my order?"). If your order has been despatched, you will need to return the goods (see "Returns").

Can I track my order?

We aim to deliver your goods to you within 2-3 Working Days if you select the standard service and Next Day if you have selected our express service after the goods have been despatched. If they have not arrived within 4 working days, please select the order status department on the contact us page and provide us with your order id to help us track the order for you.
